Privacy policy

RexBet New Brunswick respects its visitors' privacy, in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Data collected

The site is static: it requires no registration, has no account forms and processes no payments. Anonymised technical data (pages viewed, device type, browser, approximate region, referring site) may be collected for audience measurement. None of it identifies you directly, and we do not combine it with any other source.

Cookies and local storage

Only strictly necessary or audience-measurement cookies may be set. The site itself uses no third-party advertising cookies. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing any functionality.

External and affiliate links

Third-party sites we link to (gaming platforms, providers, regulators, help organisations) have their own privacy policies. When a link is an affiliate link, the partner site may record where the visit came from; we receive no personal data about you from it.

Email

If you write to contact@rexbet-newbrunswick.com, your address and message are kept only as long as needed to handle the request, then deleted, unless the law requires otherwise. They are never shared or used for marketing.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of any personal information we might hold about you by writing to contact@rexbet-newbrunswick.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Minors

The site is for people aged 19 and over. We do not knowingly collect any data about minors; a parent or guardian who believes a minor has sent us information can write to us to have it deleted.

Hosting and security

The site consists of static pages served over HTTPS. No database containing personal information is attached to it. The host's technical server logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) are kept for security and diagnostics for a limited time, then deleted.

Purposes and retention

Audience data is used only to understand which guides are read, which cities and neighbourhoods are most visited and which pages need improving. It is kept in aggregated form and is not used to build individual profiles, to target advertising or to make any decision about a person. Raw technical data is deleted after a limited period, and only aggregated statistics (for example the number of visits to a page in a month) are kept longer.

Transfers outside the province

Hosting, audience measurement or email providers may store data on servers located elsewhere in Canada or abroad. When that happens, the data is subject to the laws of the country where it is stored, and we choose providers that offer protection comparable to Canadian standards.

Security incidents

Because the site holds no accounts, passwords or payment data, the risk to visitors is limited. If an incident ever affected the little data we handle, such as emails sent to us, we would notify the people concerned and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada when the law requires it, and explain what happened and what we did about it.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site or the law evolves; the last generation date appears on every page.
